They carry every type of fabric and what you are looking for will probably be found in the upholstery section of the store. They have beautiful tapestry style fabric idoesn't area. For inexpensive apartment decorating that does not require paint, you can take any panel of fabric and adhere it to the wall with liquid fabric starch. It works just like glue but is not at all permanent. Simply sponge the starch on to the wall, lay the fabric on to the starched area to position it, then smooth the fabric out. Once it is dry, it won't peel off until you lift a corner and give it a tug. Q. I'd like to tie-dye a few tapestries and I don't know what fabric to use. I've read that people use tablecloths and bedsheets but I'm not sure what materials they need to be (100% cotton, or will synthetic fiber blends work?). Also, sheets and tablecloths have different weights and thread counts, are there any that work particularly well and can be found cheaply at a local store?
