How do I remove stains from a silver pleather/suede wallet?
Q. I had my wallet in my purse, and on the interior of my purse there is a pink and purple flower design. One day I went out into the rain and it went inside my purse, staining my wallet. My wallet has now purple stains on the edges of it on the suede and the pleather. What can I do to remove this? Would nail polish remover work? The rain went onto the fabric inside my purse, thus staining the wallet.

How do you get water stains off a leather wallet?
Q. I recently got a new wallet with painted monogram on it, and somehow a few drops of water got on to it. And now there's water stains on those areas, they look a little darker. Not all that noticeable, not enough to annoy me. Is there a way to get them out? And yes, I did let the water dry out when it happened. I meant *but* enough to annoy me.

A. I doubt you will ever get it back to "original quality". Try saddle soap to start, then after it's completely dry work a generous quantity of mink oil or neatsfoot oil into it. Be prepared to use a lot of elbow grease as well. You may never get the lumps out, but the more you work the leather the softer it will get.

A. It might depend on the stain ... but if you have used soap and water then you have pretty much ruined it. Sorry. You might try dyeing it, but even that would depend on what caused the original stain. UPDATE: A down-thumb? Thanks for that. .

Q. Here is what I'm looking to do. Print out one (1) sheet (8.5X11) all full of the same wallet size photo? I can then cut them up into individual wallet size pics? A. Never put leather, suede or wool in a washing machine! If the leather has a sealant on it, you may use saddle soap. If its nubuck leather you cannot. If you're not sure, spot test it to see if it stains (on an interior side). You can also use leather cleaning wipes to clean it out. Sprinkle baking soda on it will also absorb many odors and won't stain.

A. All three. Distribute your money around so that if one wallet gets stolen you can still enjoy the trip. I always travel with at least 3 wallets: one for the plastic, one for the cash and one that I take out for all to see and has the small change. Have copies of all important documents in your luggage. If possible scan and email them to an account that you can access at an internet cafe.

A. First, take a digital photo of yourself. Stand in front of a white background and pose with a natural expression, closed mouth (no smiling) and open eyes. Be sure and capture your head completely in front of the white background. Log on to epassportphoto. com and select the passport country of origin. Compare photo with "composition checklist" to be sure photo is usable. Then, browse for the photo and upload. From that point, you can crop, download and print your valid passport photos right to your home printer. It's that easy and saves you a trip to the photo shop where you'd pay to have the exact same thing done.

Q. My wallet was stolen a few weeks ago. I had a prepaid mastercard in it, and a good thing about it is that I can check where it was used online. A. Two things could happen. You could be charged with the initial violation, plus failure to produce a valid drivers license, and insurance. This means you would be taken into the station where you would have to post a cash bond. On the other hand, the Officer could check your information, and see if you have a valid license. I think the question is What is the minimal set of coins that can make ANY amount from 1c to 99c ? 4 x 1c takes care of 0-4c 1 x 5c takes care of 5-9c (with the pennies) 1 x 10c takes care of 10-19c Then you need another nickel or dime to cover 20-24c. How to clean bowling grease off a wallet?
